In a conventional industrial shock absorber the oil forced through the throttle bores on one side of the cylinder.
This causes enormous stains at hight speed-speed impacts, which results in vibrations, reduced energy absorption
and lifespan of the shock absorber.
The Sommer industrial shock absorbers have the bores in a spiral directly in the piston. This reduces
mechanical strains, which leads to smooth operation and soft absorption during the entire motion.
